AICoven Terms of Service

Welcome to AICoven, operated by Andreea Elena Papillon ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using AICoven, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What AICoven Is

AICoven is a collaborative workspace for orchestrating multiple AI models, managing shared memory, and working with AI roles inside projects called "Covens".

AICoven operates under a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You connect your own AI provider accounts (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google), and all model usage occurs under your credentials.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use AICoven. By using the service, you confirm that:

  • You are legally permitted to use it.
  • You have the authority to connect any third-party AI accounts you provide.
  • You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your login credentials.
  • Safeguarding your connected API keys.
  • All activity performed through your account.

We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your credentials.

4. Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK)

  • AICoven does not provide paid AI model access.
  • You are solely responsible for all costs, limits, and obligations associated with your connected AI providers.
  • Your API keys are encrypted and are never shared with other users.

We may temporarily block usage if a connected provider key is invalid, revoked, or exceeds quota.

5. Covens and Collaboration

Covens are shared workspaces. Depending on your settings:

  • Messages, results, or approved memory may be visible to other Coven members.
  • You control what information is saved to shared memory.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you make available to others.

6. Ownership of Content

You retain ownership of your messages, your projects, your memories, and your connected provider accounts.

You grant AICoven a limited, non-exclusive licence to process this content solely to operate the service (e.g. storing, encrypting, retrieving, and displaying it to you or your Coven). We do not claim ownership of your data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use AICoven for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities.
  • Attempt to compromise the platform's security or encryption mechanisms.
  • Use AICoven in ways that violate third-party AI provider terms.

We may suspend or terminate access if misuse or security risks are detected.

8. Subscriptions and Billing

Some features require an active subscription purchased via Apple's App Store.

  • Payments are handled entirely by Apple.
  • We do not store or process payment information.
  • Subscription entitlements are enforced server-side.

9. Service Availability and Disclaimers

AICoven is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or accuracy of AI-generated outputs. AI responses are produced by third-party providers or local models and may be incorrect or incomplete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the greater of £50 or the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using AICoven at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, breach provider policies, or create security or legal risks. Termination does not affect your statutory rights.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
